Time seems to fly faster with each passing year. Breeding season is already a distant memory. Show season is halfway over. Did we accomplish anything? It has been a good year.
The above-pictured Anthracite Cock won Best Intermediate both days at Chandler in April, as well as placing 7th Best In Show the first day and 3rd Best In Show the second day over 127 birds. It was a great weekend and the wins along with CC earned on a Yellow Face Hen moved us up to Champion Breeder division.
On to Mesa Arizona June 23 where this bird won Best Rare in Show and placed 10th Best in Show with 208 birds competing. A good start for sure.
